Ted Nugent Threatens Obama: Time to 'Chop Their Heads Off' (VIDEO)

Ted Nugent made harsh criticisms against the Obama administration while at a National Riffle Association convention, stating that the administration was "vile" and suggesting that it was time to "chop their heads off."

The "Free for All" singer is known for his Republican views and defense of hunting and gun ownership. During a convention for the National Rifle Associate Nugent also upheld his support for Romney as president.

"If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," Nugent said, in a NRA video that was released on YouTube.

Nugent accused the government of "wiping its ass with the Constitution" and suggesting that the administration, which he referred to as "criminals," had been "living under a rock some place."

"We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November," Nugent proclaimed.

Nugent also attacked those who were not taking "effective" measures against the Obama administration within their own homes.

"If you can't go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil America hated [sic] administration, I don't even know what you're made out of," the musician prompted.

The Mitt Romney advocate did not, however, receive support from the Romney campaign, who referred to Nugent's comments as "divisive."

"Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil," Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said according to CNN.

Democratic National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz also took offense to the comments, calling them "despicable, deplorable and completely beyond the pale."

"Romney's surrogates should know better than to rally the troops with outrageous rhetoric that is unacceptable in our political debate," the Florida representative said in a statement. "Mitt Romney must condemn Nugent's violent and hateful rhetoric immediately, as it has no place in our political discourse or this campaign."
