'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell Pregnant: Ready to Raise Baby With Boyfriend This Time?

"Teen Mom" star Catelynn Lowell took to Instagram on Wednesday to officially announce her second pregnancy.

The expecting 22-year-old posted a picture of her cradling her baby bump accompanied by the caption, "It's official 4 months!" Lowell and her longtime boyfriend Tyler Baltierra will welcome the child around January.

It can be recalled that Lowell and Baltierra put up their first child, Carly, for adoption five years ago. However, they are in touch with the adoptive parents and they visit the child twice a year.

Lowell told In Touch magazine that she was scared when she had her first child. She was only 16 during that time.

"I was too young when I got pregnant with Carly. I was sad and scared. I didn't want to be a teen mom. I'm proud of the choice I made," she explained.

Lowell also revealed that her second pregnancy was a conscious decision between her and Baltierra. She said that they decided to stop using birth control three months ago so they could conceive another baby.

"I would have felt guilty if I got pregnant again when Carly was one or two. But we've both been yearning for this," said Lowell.

The couple has managed to stay together through the years and both are now working full-time jobs caring for developmentally disabled adults near their home in St. Clair, Michigan.

"We've learned from what our parents did wrong. Tyler and I own our own home, have two cars and actually have money to support a kid," said Lowell.

The pair is also looking to get married soon. Recently they have sought counseling when Baltierra broke off their engagement two months before their July wedding, but Lowell said that there will definitely be a wedding.

"The wedding needs to happen before I get huge," she added.
