'Teen Mom' News: Amber Portwood Engaged to Boyfriend Matt Baier
"Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood confirmed that she is engaged to her boyfriend Matt Baier on Monday, March 2.
Portwood, who will be appearing in a new season of "Teen Mom" titled "Teen Mom OG" denied the rumors that Baier's proposal was just for the show.
"I don't stage things for [the cameras]," said Portwood to MTV news. "I live my life, MTV follows me—I don't follow them. Everything that is seen on 'Teen Mom OG' is our lives, and this is the way it is. We've never tried to do anything to please others. It's our lives to help others—it's not just for TV."

Portwood also said that there has been so many changes in her life since she was last on camera.
"It's been a while since we've done this," she told Us Weekly. "It's kind of new because I'm sober…Our lives have changed so much."
The reality star was briefly engaged to Gary Shirley, the father of their 6-year old daughter Leah. Portwood went through a lot of trials as in June 2012, she was sentenced to five years in prison after she was arrested on drug possession charges. She was released from prison on parole in November 2013, after serving just 16 months in jail.
Portwood said that fans will see a different side of her on "Teen Mom OG."
"The big thing, I think, for me, is people are going to see me sober. I also have a fiancé now and he's moving in," she said.
The 24-year old gushed about Baier saying, "I mean, he's really funny. He's really smart. He's a lot older than me, but he's mature and he can handle me. We have similar personalities."
"Teen Mom OG" premieres on Monday, March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
