"Teen Mom" has been renamed "Teen Mom OG" in the fifth season of the reality television show series. This premiered in December of 2009 on MTV. The show is a first spin-off of "16 and Pregnant." It aired for four seasons before it concluded in October 12, 2012. The revival of the show was announced in February 2015 and the fifth season premiered in March 23, 2015.
The reality TV series is now on its sixth season and follows the life of Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood. The cast has been featured in the first episode of "16 and Pregnant" which documents their lives as they move on to motherhood and also puts the emphasis on strained family relationships as well as romantic relationships.
It has been more than seven years since the teens made their MTV debut, now their unique tales of parenthood continues on "Teen Mom OG" Season 6. The latest season will have a series of unexpected events with unpredictable twists and turns.
The cast of the reality television series are Abraham who is an aspiring model and the mother of Sophia Laurent Abraham. Bookout, on the other hand, is the mother of Bentley Cadence Edwards and is described to be the classic teenager who is an overachiever and popular in school. Lastly, Amber Portwood is the mother of Leah Leann Shirley and is knownto be a self-declared party girl and now all her time is spent taking care of her daughter.
