'Teen Mom' star Leah Messer and her bad parenting

Star of "Teen Mom 2" Leah Messer faced some trouble with the police after complaints that she was not taking good care of her three daughters.

The young mother was accused of bad parenting after an insider shared details of how she handled her daughter. It was reported by In Touch Weekly, "Cops were called after someone at her girls' [twins Ali and Aleeah, 5] school reported Leah to them, claiming she doesn't put the kids in car seats. Leah is routinely late picking the girls up from school."

With that news, the police came and pulled Messer over, which only revealed her children buckled in properly. However, other complaints stated that Messer does not provide a wheelchair for Ali when going to school. This resulted to Ali unable to get out quickly during a fire drill. Messer's daughter Ali suffers from muscular dystrophy, which is why she needs a wheelchair to use occasionally.

Furthermore, it was confirmed by Corey Simms, Messer's ex-husband, that Messer does not take Ali to scheduled physical therapy appointments. This was also evident during the scenes of Teen Mom 2. Simms also accused Messer of a possible drug problem, which resulted to her admission to rehab. However, it was addressed that her stay in rehab was for stress, not for substance abuse.

Footage from the series also showed Messer's parenting where she was seen feeding her daughters at midnight and spanking the girls. Simms had started a custody battle for his children, though it was reported that his case will not be able to use the footage from MTV in court.

An insider stated, "Legally, Corey can't use the footage from the show against Leah, no matter how damning. Nothing in the show can be used in court by parties that have signed contracts. The reason is because in the contracts it says that MTV has the right to portray things however they want."

Teen Mom 2 season 6 airs on MTV every Thursday night.
