After deciding to stay with his father, Stiles experienced some issues with his best friend. With that, the upcoming episodes are expected to shed more light on their relationship. However, it seems as though Stiles could lose his father, despite the sacrifice he made.

There are reports stating that the Sheriff could be exposed to an infection that could kill him. It was stated that he could have gotten the infection during his run-in with Theo, who has connections with Dread Doctors and dangerous viruses. It is speculated that Theo could be responsible for spreading a virus that is not treatable with modern medicine.

Aside from Stiles' relationship with Scott, it was hinted that the upcoming return will show his relationship with another one of the characters. During the New York Comic-Con, the executive producer of the series Jeff Davis shared some interesting spoilers about Stiles and Lydia.

According to Hollywood Life, he stated, "I think it's definitely going to be a pretty epic moment in this two-part episode of 515 and 516. I don't want to tease too much because we want it to be surprising, but it will satisfy certain fans I hope. Maybe piss off many others, but that always happens."

"Teen Wolf" season 5 is expected to air on MTV this Jan. 5.
