'Teen Wolf' Season 5B News, Cast, Spoilers: The Return of Season 5B Will Have the Return of Humor as Well
Five seasons in and MTV's "Teen Wolf" has definitely evolved from a simple story of a teenage boy struggling with his new werewolf abilities to now a leader making sure that all is well with his pack as they face new kinds of evil that come to their town.
Fans of the show were witness as to how the jokes have noticeably lessened as the foes got bigger and stronger. Creator Jeff Davis is not oblivious to this change and shared that the show will try to go back to its humorous roots when it returns for season 5B. According to Vulture, Davis who recently spoke during the "Teen Wolf" New York Comic-Con panel shared, "We went pretty dark in 5A. We're getting our sense of humor back, we like to say, in 5B. It's gonna be much more fun. I told Tyler we're gonna see him as a badass alpha. Tyler kicks ass up and down the sets of Teen Wolf."
Tyler Posey, who plays Scott in the series, shares that a lot of light moments would be coming from the blossoming romance of his character and Kira (Arden Cho). There were recent rumors that Cho was exiting the show as well; however, Posey's statement proves this news otherwise. He says, "They're so cute and I love the awkwardness between them, and it really brings a kind of awkwardness to the show. I think the show really needs it and it's just really relatable."
Fans of the couple are probably more than happy to hear this, but it won't be enough to distract them from the fact that Scott's current relationship with his long-time best friend Stiles (Dylan O' Brien) is on the rocks. The promotional trailer had already given fans a preview of Stiles and Scott facing off each other in a battle, and based on the season 5A finale, Scott will also have a lot to deal with Liam. Due to the rising tension between Scott and his pack, it seems that the he will be forced to make an unlikely camaraderie with Theo (Cody Christian).
