'Teen Wolf' Season 5B Spoilers: Orny Adams Returns, Dylan O'Brien to Leave Series?

"Teen Wolf" fans will have a reason to celebrate as a fan favorite character is returning to the show. According to Design & Trend, series executive producer Jeff Davis confirmed that Coach Bobby Finstock, played by Orny Adams, will be returning to the young adult fantasy series when it comes back for the second half of season 5.

Coach Finstock is the Beacon Hills High School lacrosse coach. Fans have come to love him since the first season since he adds a comedic touch to the show with his generally grumpy and always fast to deliver devastating lines character. When the show announced Adams' temporary exit from the series, many of the fans were heartbroken. He had to leave half of the season due to his busy touring schedule.

As revealed in a report via Hypable, the stand-up comic explained during the Burbank "Teen Wolf" convention held in March that his schedule did not permit him to come back to the series because he had other shows already that could not be cancelled. Aside from that, he also revealed that he is involved in an unconfirmed Netflix special.

Movie Pilot reported that Coach Finstock's return was supposed to be a surprise as told by Davis. But by that time, Arden Cho, who plays as Kira Yukimura, tweeted out, "Orny Adams, good seeing you today!!! Jelly you got wrapped early to celebrate your birthday!!! Have fun! Happy Birthday!"

However, if Adams is coming back, another star is leaving. Yibada reported that Dylan O'Brien, who plays as Stiles, may be departing the show because of his jam-packed schedule in filming movies. Several of his fans voiced out their sadness but Davis assures fans that even before O'Brien leaves, he will be given a happy ending.

The source said that O'Brien's character, Stiles, will finally be together with Lydia, the character played by Holland Roden. Realty Today detailed that Lydia will be trapped in Eichen House and Stiles will be the one to rescue her. That could be the beginning of their "more than friends" status.

Fans can catch more of "Teen Wolf" once it returns on Jan. 5, 2016 on MTV.
