'Teen Wolf' Season 6: Kira Will Not Be Back
A fan favorite character of "Teen Wolf" will not be returning to the upcoming season of the hit MTV series.
It was previously announced that Kira Yukimura will no longer be part of the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6. According to Hypable, the actress who plays the role, Arden Cho, confirmed her exit in her blog.
The news broke the hearts of many fans, as many love the powerful personality of the female character. In addition, many were looking forward to see how Kira and Scott's love life were going to process as the series went on.
The series had followed their romance throughout the previous seasons, which was beloved by many fans. With that, fans have already been wondering on who Scott's new love interest will be in the upcoming season of "Teen Wolf."
Cho's farewell video showed her appreciation for the character. She explained that she was honored to have portrayed the character. She said, "I just want to say I love Kira Yukimura so much. I love the Yukimura family. I loved my experience on Teen Wolf. I love the cast and crew, it's been an amazing three-and-a-half years. It's gone by so fast, but unfortunately, it looks like we are wrapped up with Kira's storyline and she won't be coming back for season 6."
She did not state a reason as to why she was leaving the series. Instead, she hinted that it could have been due to the fact that there were too many characters present on the show.
There were speculations that her exit could have been due to the lack of development in her character. She also expressed that she wished to have seen her character more developed, in order to shed more light on her powers. However, these details have yet to be confirmed.
