'Teen Wolf' Season 6 News and Updates: Dylan O'Brien's Injury, Cast, Release Date, and What We Know So Far
"Teen Wolf" season 5 closed with Scott (Tyler Posey) working closely with allies to get rid of the Beast at Beacon Hills. The Desert Wolf was fought by Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Braeden (Meagan Tandy), while Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) arrive to cause complications. Theo, on the other hand, continues with his quest for power.
In the meantime, there's a lot of mess going on at the wake of Sebastien Valet, which made Damnatio Memoriae a thing of the past. Mason (Khylin Rhambo) should be forever gone since the Beast is grown and do not need the Dread Doctors any longer.
With the finale of "Teen Wolf's" fifth season, there is no doubt viewers are waiting for season 6.
What to Expect
"Teen Wolf" creator Jeff Davis reported that there are a lot of new thing to be excited about season 6. He stated that the sixth season of the series will have more of the Lydia (Holland Roden)-Stiles story, which will surely give fans something to be happy about.
He also added that there will be there more villains and that the mythology will involve three new characters and three new bad guys. He did not elaborate more on the villain's part but concluded that they are tall.
Meanwhile, the premiere of "Teen Wolf" season 6 will somehow be delayed. There are reports that the reason for the delay is because of O'Brien's injury while filming "Maze Runner." The injury had to make him rest and stop production. More reports say that O'Brien might not reprise his role due to his condition. However, "Teen Wolf production" insists that O'Brien will be back for the sixth season and that Stiles will still exist.
However, at this time, there is no news yet on O'Brien's condition. Hopefully, more updates will come out in the following weeks regarding his recovery.
Other reports also indicate that O'Brien's condition has nothing to do with the production's delay. In fact, Gospel Herald reported that the reason for the delay is a pitched battle between VIACOM and MTV's parent company. In addition to the pitched battle, MTV is also waiting for "Sweet/Vicious," which is said to be "Teen Wolf's" debut buddy.
Despite delays in the premiere of "Teen Wolf" season 6, the series will be back for more adventures this fall on MTV.
