Pack to Take Down Cult Following in 'Teen Wolf'

Scott (Tyler Posey) and his werewolf pack will face off with a maddened cult in the second half of the current installment of "Teen Wolf."

According to spoilers, one of the upcoming storylines to look forward to in season 6B is the moment the pack takes down a cult following. Previously, executive producer Jeff Davis mentioned that the overall theme of the last episodes would be inspired by American author H.P. Lovecraft, who is known for his horror fiction work. Scott and his brothers will likely be facing off with cult members who worship "otherworldly gods." Davis also hinted of a very dark premise and gross plots.

"6b is very much a story of the outsider. Scott and his friends become pariahs once again in Beacon Hills. It is about the rise of new hunters. It is also a season that is sort of inspired by HP Lovecraft. It is definitely a season of very dark horror. We have some of our grossest stuff coming your way," the EP teased in a Teen Wolf News interview.

Meanwhile, aside from cults, the werewolf packs will also deal with the arrival of a new group of hunters. Reports reveal that this faction will cause chaos in Beacon Hills. It remains to be seen what kind of philosophy its members follow.

Fans of the series have previously been introduced to two hunter groups - the Argents and the Calaveras. The Argents have established a peaceful relationship with the wolves, but the Calaveras have been intent on eliminating every member of the pack.

The last episodes will see Beacon Hills thrown in complete disarray. Spoilers reveal that Scott, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) will not be able to leave town due to the huge threat. Scott's father, Agent Rafe McCall (Matthew Del Negro) will reportedly arrive in town to help. Whatever kind of creature is hunting the citizens of Beacon Hills, the FBI is interested enough to be involved.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 is rumored to return late June.
