'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Spoilers: Sequel Will Include New Characters
New characters, as well as familiar faces, are expected to join the upcoming sequel "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2."
There are reports stating that the film will be introducing new characters from the comics. Victoria's Secret Model Alessandra Ambrosio will be taking on a role for the upcoming film. Details about her character have yet to be revealed. It was stated that the sequel will be bringing the characters Bebop and Rocksteady to the big screen.
After the surprising success of the first film, it was reported that Nickolodeon is planning to bring Bebop and Rocksteady into its merchandise in the coming year. According to NickAlive, Marianne James, the vice president of Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products, explained, "The first movie was a huge success and the next installment will bring us Casey Jones along with fan favorites Bebop and Rocksteady. It's going to be massive with a toy and action figure range to complement the release. We are very excited at developing the movie franchise with all new product and retail activations."

Meanwhile, fans will also see the return of some familiars faces. It was revealed that fans will see the return of General Krang, an alien villain. However, there are speculations that the character will be rendered in CGI.
William Fichtner is also expected to reprise his role as Dr. Eric Sacks. He recently shared some information about the upcoming sequel. He revealed that fans will finally get a chance to look into the origins of the ninja turtles.
Aside from Fichtner's hint, there has yet to be details on what the plot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" will be like. More information will be revealed once the trailer releases this December 2015.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is expected to release by June 2016.
