'Tharsis' Release Date News: Arriving on the PS4 in 2016
A new game is slated to be released next year and it's going to be out of this world. According to Latin Post, new turn-based strategy game "Tharsis" will be arriving very soon as its release date has already been announced. Co-founder of Choice Provisions Mike Roush divulged the details via the PlayStation blog wherein he wrote that the game will specifically come out on Jan. 12, 2016.
Gamers who will pick up "Tharsis" once it is released will play through a strategy game that involves humanity's first mission to Mars. However, the mission is put in jeopardy after being struck by a meteor storm. Players will then need to take control of The Aporea, the ship that has brought the humans to the red planet. They will need to find ways to survive and most of that will take place in the ship.
A trailer of the game was also released and it showed a sneak peek of what to expect in the game. It revealed a series of scenes that showed how the players will need to make important decisions with a roll of a dice. Sometimes, the decision will involve cannibalizing the crew in order to survive and replenishing the low stock of food supplies.

They will also need to finish the mission as they are not merely trying to find out if water exists in Mars but instead, they need to locate the source of a mysterious signal emanating from the planet. Aside from that, the mission is supposed to save the Earth. As noted in the blog of Choice Provisions, they wrote, "Your failure to reach everyone's favorite red planet will result in not only your death, but possibly the death of every living thing on Earth."
The game is said to be the first one to be available next year and it will be released for PS4 and PC.
