'The 100' Season 2 News: Clarke Turns Into a Fighter, Season 2 to Be Even Darker
At this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, actress Eliza Taylor, who plays Clarke on "The 100," revealed what's in store for her character in the show's upcoming season. At the end of season 1, Clarke was captured and incarcerated in Mount Weather. Will the experience cow her, or will it turn her into a tougher, stronger leader?
Taylor said that her character will be "more of the same."
"She's just getting darker and darker and what I love about what's happening throughout the series, of going from being a prisoner to becoming this fearless leader and then being a prisoner again, since the last time we saw her it came full circle," she told Zap2it.com.
"She's back in the position of being helpless and a prisoner. You can expect her to use some of the skills she's picked up outside to fight as hard as she can to get out," she added.
When asked whether she will be escaping Mount Weather soon, the actress referenced a popular movie.
"She's gone Jason Bourne. She's turned into such a crazy fighter. You're definitely going to see her do whatever she can to find out where her people are and if they're alive and she's going to try to get out," Taylor explained.
Actor Ricky Whittle was also at the Comic-Con panel and said that season 2 was going to be even darker. In his interview, he credited The CW for letting the series push the boundaries because of how dark it was compared to the other shows on the network's lineup.
"It's really exciting," said Whittle. "It's going to get really dark. But we're going to keep it real."
"The 100" Season 2 premieres on Oct. 22 on The CW.
