'The 100' Season 2 Spoilers: Octavia Defects to the Grounders, Other Groups to Be Revealed
The CW had another hit when it premiered its new show "The 100" this spring, and fans of the show were happy to know that the sci-fi hit was renewed for another season. Show creator Jason Rotherberg and the cast were at last month's Comic-Con in San Diego to talk about the show, and they revealed some spoilers for the upcoming season.
In season one, there was a battle between the 100 and the Grounders, which led to the capture of Anya, Monty, Clarke and others. The season finale saw Clarke waking up in a secured facility, while Monty is locked up in another room across the hall. The facility is called Mount Weather Quarantine Ward.
At the Comic-con panel, Rothenberg said that season two will pick up where it left off in the last season, so there will be no time jumps. The show creator previewed a video clip which sees Clarke's reaction at being held captive. Rothenberg also said that the new season will focus on reunions, which is a key storyline throughout the season.

Other groups will be introduced as well. Aside from the Grounders, new groups such as the Mountain Men and the Boat People will be featured, according to Cinemablend.
The new season will also see Octavia as she defects to the Grounders.
"You're going to see what the real Grounders have to say about that, and if and when they accept her with open arms or not," said Marie Avgeropolous, who plays Octavia.
Season two of "The 100" is set to premiere on the CW on Oct. 22.
