'The 100' Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers: First Teaser For Season 3 Reveals Clarke In Danger
Just in time for the holidays, The CW has unveiled its first teaser for the third season of their post-apocalyptic drama series, "The 100."
In the teaser, Clarke (Eliza Taylor), who was last seen heading for the Camp Jaha woods, is a woman on the run. Surprisingly, it appears that her view about the deaths at Mount Weather is no longer the same as when fans last saw her in Season 2. Then, she was overcome by guilt over the events at Mount Weather. In the last part of the season finale, she informed Bellamy (Bob Morley) that she was striking out on her own. He tried to reason with her to stay, but Clarke didn't listen. This exchange led some "The 100" fans to believe that actress Eliza Taylor would not be returning for Season 3.
At the beginning of the teaser, which was posted on The CW YouTube channel on Dec. 11, Clarke thinks differently about what occurred on Mount Weather. She is seen talking to a woman who tells her, "Tell me about the mountain." She answers, "I did what I had to do, that's all."

Has Clarke accepted what happened? Or is she only trying to convince the person she's talking to in the clip? Whose is this mysterious disembodied voice? Could it be Queen Nia of the Ice Nation?
It also appears that Clarke will be needing help. Indra (Adina Porter) says that Clarke is "being hunted, by everyone." Will Bellamy and the rest find her before she is captured?
The teaser also reveals multiple battle scenes and hostiles taking Monty (Christopher Larkin) away. A Twitter post from earlier this year suggested that a major "The 100" character will die in the third season. Could it be Monty?
"The 100" premieres its Season 3 on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. on The CW. It follows the series premiere of DC's "Legends of Tomorrow."
