'The 100' Season 4 Episode 7 Spoilers: Abigail Reveals Plans to Clarke
Clarke (Eliza Taylor) will have to decide if Abigail's (Paige Turco) plan on saving the human race is feasible or not in the upcoming episode of "The 100."
In the episode titled "Gimme Shelter," the promo shows that Clarke has finally settled on the island. She and her mother begin discussing the possible ways to save the people from the radiation. Abigail will then receive an urgent call that they need to find a solution now before it is too late. The acid rain that they all fear has started to fall and the unfortunate ones who are not able to take shelter immediately begin feeling its debilitating effect.
Abigail thinks she has the answer to the problem, but she is not sure how the others will respond. The experiment will involve sacrificing a human life. According to Abigail, they need to see if her serum will work. To do that, they need a test subject, someone who will be exposed to radiation. Clarke is horrified, but she knows it is the only way. She asks Abigail whom they will choose to commit the ultimate sacrifice.
A scene then shows a man's arm being injected with the cure. It looks like they have decided. Abigail shares her thoughts with Clarke. She fears that by finding the cure, she has become a murderer.
In an interview with TVLine, Taylor said that the survivors have very few options left, especially when they lost the fuel supply. Still, Clarke and the others have yet to lose hope. They will not give up until they find the answer to their problem.
"There's not a lot of hope, but Clarke and the gang are still determined to find a way to ride out the radiation. There are a couple of people who have hope, but they're in a pretty hopeless situation," Taylor said.
"The 100" season 4 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on the CW.
