'The 100' Season 4 Episode 9: Jasper and Monty Face Off

Jasper's (Devon Bostick) attitude is taking its toll on the other survivors, particularly Monty (Christopher Larkin), in the upcoming episode of "The 100."

In the episode titled "DNR," the promo reveals that Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the others only have six days left before the black rain arrives. Anyone who is not inside the bunker will die. The acid rain will kill the unfortunate ones within minutes and there is no getting away. The chosen few who are aware of what is to come are starting to argue. Jasper wants to go out of the bunker and find other ways to survive. After Abigail (Paige Turco) destroyed the radiation chamber, they all knew they lost their only hope to live.

Luna's (Nadia Hilker) Nightblood proved to be an antidote against the effects of the black rain but only to a certain degree. The test subject died as the radiation hiked up. Clarke and Abigail had no choice but to find another one to experiment on, but they had limited choices. Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira) was picked because it was revealed she had betrayed the group, but Clarke could not find it in herself to kill her. She let herself be injected by Luna's bone marrow and was preparing to go inside the chamber when Abby made her move. She destroyed the machine before anyone else could do anything.

In the teaser, Jasper has had enough of being cooped up. He rallies the others to leave the bunker and try their luck elsewhere. Monty urges him to reconsider and go back inside, but he says "no." He thinks cowering and waiting for the black rain to come is not his way of living. Monty can only look at him and the others and shake his head. Jasper has made up his mind and there is no going back.

"The 100" season 4 episode 9 will air Wednesday, April 26 at 9 p.m. EDT on the CW.
