'The Affair' Season 2, Episode 10 Spoilers: Will Noah Realize His Shortcomings as He Goes to Therapy?
In the upcoming episode of "The Affair," Noah (Dominic West) will be in the hot seat as Allison (Ruth Wilson) drags him to therapy so they can pick up the pieces of their falling relationship.
It seems a twist of fate has led Noah even further into the lows of his affair as he experiences fame and fortune following the massive success of his novel "Descent." The book tackles his affair with Allison. It is obviously an autobiographical account of how he messed his marriage up and chose to cling to his girlfriend, but some outlets like to call his book "semi-autobiographical" since Noah had to add some pieces of information that really shouldn't have been free for the world to feast on.
The previous episode saw Allison giving birth to a baby girl, which, according to some rumors, could possibly be the child of Scotty (Colin Donnell) instead of Noah's.

Noah's fame is getting a toll on his relationship with Allison, and while they should be starting a new life, it seems Noah's newfound glory is getting in the way. The promo video shows Noah speaking to Marilyn (Cynthia Nixon), Allison's therapist.
Marilyn asks some questions that obviously pushed the red button on Noah as he appears to be uneasy. One of the questions was regarding his marriage with Helen (Maura Tierney) and if he has ever been attracted to other women. Noah defensively answers that he was only unfaithful with Allison.
The shocking part is he admits that he "almost" cheated on Allison with his publicist Eden (Brooke Lyons) and that his partner had no knowledge of his actions.
It is unclear if Noah will find himself and realize what fame is doing to him in the upcoming episode. After all, his novel told not only his successful exit from his marriage and grand entrance into a new life with Allison but it also told how Helen was broken, along with their three children.
Episode 10 of "The Affair" season 2 airs on Sunday, Dec. 6 on Showtime.
