'The Affair' Season 2 Episode 12 Spoilers: What Will Happen This Season Finale?

"The Affair" season 2's finale is now close, and fans are curious what will happen next to Noah (Dominic West) and Alison's (Ruth Wilson) tumultuous relationship.

According to The New York Times, Noah's career has caused a major rift in his and Alison's relationship, and it showed throughout the current season. The website also noted that Alison's lying to Noah about her quitting med school makes the "Descent" author question his relationship with her.

However, when Noah visited his best friend Max (Josh Stamberg), the latter just told him that his relationship with Alison just started with an affair, so he can't expect her to be fully truthful to him. Max also confronted Noah for not speaking to him for a long time, and said he's now done hearing his relationship troubles. Fans are curious if Noah can at least salvage his relationship with Max in the upcoming season.
