'The Affair' Season 4: Production Moves to California
Showtime has already renewed "The Affair" for a fourth season. And according to a new report, the series is moving production from New York to California.
For the past three seasons, "The Affair" has filmed in New York. However, thanks to California's new tax credit program, the Showtime series is shifting production to the Golden State.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, other shows like "The OA," "Legion" and "Lucifer" have also decided to move to California because of its upgraded tax incentives program, following in the footsteps of "Veep," "American Horror Story" and "Ballers."

The season 3 finale of "The Affair" ended on a seemingly positive note, with Vic (Omar Metwally) and Helen (Maura Tierney) looking content and happy together. However, it is expected that this outward joy will not last forever.
As fans know, Helen has always had a special place in her heart for Noah (Dominic West). And even though he cheated on her with Alison (Ruth Wilson) when they were still married, Helen would still run to him given the chance. And that chance may come in season 4.
The upcoming season will find Noah without anyone since Alison is with Cole (Joshua Jackson), while Juliette (Irene Jacob) is in Paris. Speculations are rife that Noah will turn to Helen for comfort or companionship, which will inevitably cause her to leave or cheat on Vic. It remains to be seen, though, if Vic could ever forgive her again if she goes behind his back.
The first three seasons of "The Affair" received critical acclaim. Wilson and Tierney have both won acting awards at the Golden Globes for their performances as Alison and Helen, respectively. The show itself won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Drama in its first run.
Season 4 of "The Affair" does not have a set release date yet. However, it is expected to premiere sometime this year.
