'The Affair' Season 4 Spoilers: Noah's Next Love Interest is a Co-Worker?
Noah (Dominic West) is ready to date again in the upcoming season of "The Affair."
According to TVLine, a new face will catch the disgraced author's attention in the upcoming installment. Showtime has tapped "Shots Fired" actress Sanaa Lathan to play the recurring role of Jenelle. Her character is reportedly the principal of the school where Noah teaches. Jenelle is described as a "tough administrator" who will get no love from the school faculty charter. She will allegedly be romantically involved with Noah later on.
Last season, Noah was torn between wooing Alison (Ruth Wilson) again and loving Juliette (Irène Jacob). When the French professor decided to leave the US, he followed her, and for a while, everything was all right. However, Noah returned home alone, hinting that he and Juliette have decided to part ways. She was starting to have doubts about the future of their relationship since he could not seem to commit to her.
Noah's storyline for season 4 is expected to be tumultuous again. He is supposed to start over, hoping that he still has another chance at life. Those around him seem to be doing okay with theirs. Helen (Maura Tierney) is back with Vic (Omar Metwally), while Alison appears to have convinced Cole (Joshua Jackson) to leave Luisa (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and be with her. Perhaps, Noah will find a way to redeem himself by helping a distraught student of his.
Spoilers indicate that Noah will encounter a student who needs help. Anton Gatewood (to be played by Christopher Meyer) is said to be a brilliant and smart co-ed who has been struggling with a lot of things since he could not handle the expectations that his parents have for him. As Anton takes his journey to fix his life, Noah will be there to guide him.
"The Affair" is rumored to return in 2018 for its fourth season.
