'The Amazing Race' destinations revealed
More news on the upcoming season of "The Amazing Race" have been released, revealing the destinations for the new teams.
A video teaser has been released for the upcoming season. With that, details of where exactly the 11 teams will be going were showcased in the promo.
During an interview with the host Phil Keoghan, he stated, "Well...we have not orbited the earth. And also, the moon is looking good right now. Wouldn't it be really cool if we were doing 'The Amazing Race' at a point where teams must now make their way to the moon. 250,000 miles to the moon. Once they've landed, they must find the lunar module from 1969. yeah...so that's what's coming up on The Amazing Race next season. Teams are going to the moon."
Joking aside, it was stated that the season will bring the teams in cities that the show has not yet explored.
The cities include Agra, India; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Hong Kong/Macau, China; Krakow, Poland; Long Island, New York; Paris, France; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Rotterdam, Netherlands; San Antonio de Areco, Argentina; Victoria Falls, Zambia; and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The teams are expected to face several challenges such as dancing the Tango in Argentina, working with a rapper in France, participating in a high flying water show in China, and swimming with crocodiles in Zimbabwe.
The race will begin and end in the United States with Venice Beach, California as the starting point. There are speculations that the finish line will be located in New York.
