'The Amazing Race' Spoilers: 'Big Brother' Couple Tapped To Join Season 30
Former "Big Brother" season 19 houseguests Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson will move on to their next reality show adventure as they join "The Amazing Race" season 30.
CBS revealed that on Sunday, Oct. 1, the couple who were known for their steamy romance in the reality show will be included in the roster of pairs that will join the live start that will be held at the Washington Square Park in New York City.
The couple sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about their reaction after they found out that will be a part of the long-running reality competition.
Graf recalled that she received a phone call from casting while driving home to ask her if she wants to join "The Amazing Race" with Nickson. She told the person on the other end of the line that she would accept the offer, and the casting person immediately told her that he will have someone to pick up her passport in her house in an hour since they will leave in 14 days.
"It all just happened so fast that I had to force myself to stop and take a second to process the information," the reality star stated. "Cody was still in jury sequester and we didn't even get any time to really talk about it. We're just diving right into another project and it's extremely exciting!"
Nickson, on the other hand, claimed that as long as his partner wants to be on the show, he will gladly do it as well.
When asked if they could potentially be better racers compared to "Big Brother" houseguests, Graf believed that they will have a better chance of winning the race this time.
"I can't imagine this cast being equally a pack of scared little girls. I'm hoping we're competing against people who appreciate good competitors," she stated.
