'The Americans' Season 4 Episode 7 Spoilers: KGB, FBI in a Race to Hunt Down an Agent
Fox's hit espionage drama TV series "The Americans" returns this week with a brand new episode that will see some of the intense developments as Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Phillip (Matthew Rhys) continue to keep their true identities safe and hidden.
Spoiler alert for those who missed "The Rat," Phillip successfully extracted Martha (Alison Wright) from the field. Trouble quickly ensued when the agent decided to leave the safe house against Gabriel's (Frank Langella) instructions. The hour ended with some uncertainties for Martha.
In the upcoming episode titled "Travel Agents," fans might see Martha regretting the decision she made. The fact that she knows too much makes her death a clear possibility. She knows that Phillip is working for the KGB and that Elizabeth is involved. Moreover, she has seen Clark's face without a disguise.

Stan (Noah Emmerich), on the other hand, might also have a big role to play in the upcoming episode's development. The agent was the one who tipped off FBI that the woman was "bad." The bureau was quick to arrive in her apartment to search for her records and declared her being compromised. There are reasons to believe that Clark's call for Martha will get tapped in the next episode. It's quite clear that agent Stan will stop at nothing to know more about Clark. Will Phillip and Elizabeth be safe from the FBI's snooping? Fans might have to find out.
Viewers should also be wary of what Gabriel can do with the woman in question. With Martha's refusal to abide in his rule, it's quite easy to predict that KGB handler will be forced to eliminate her rather than risk the entire operation.
