'The Bachelor' 2016 Spoilers: Seven Girls Sent Home On First Night, Plus A Twist!
"The Bachelor" Season 20 airs its premiere episode on Jan. 4, and in it, the new bachelor, Ben Higgins, will be greeting the 28 new contestants vying for the final rose. The competition will be fierce and on the first night alone, seven ladies will be going home. However, there will also be an unexpected plot twist before the first episode ends.
Based on photos released by ABC, Ben and the girls seem to have had a great time at the show's first cocktail party of the new season. Before the night ends, the bachelor kisses two of the girls, and, as spoilers indicate, he will want to hand his first impression rose to 23-year-old news anchor Olivia Caridi.
Although he was initially surprised to see Amber James and Becca Tilley - two former "The Bachelor" contestants - he decides to keep both of them for several more episodes.
But despite the fun times and the friendly atmosphere - as well as some kissing on the side - Ben will still have to decide which of the girls will leave on the first night. Olivia, with her first impression rose, is safe, as are Amber and Becca, who get to move on to the next step. The two girls who share kisses with Ben are also greenlit.
So who leaves on the first night?
According to Reality Steve, contestants Isabel Goodkind, Meagan Miller, Breanne Rice, Lauren Russell, Laura Esselman, Jessica Moser, and Tiara Soleim will be sent home after the first rose ceremony.
The twist at the end of the episode is that Lauren R. returns after the ceremony and requests a second chance. Unfortunately, the Bachelor is confident in his choices and declines. Seeing as how there are other Laurens on the show this season, eliminating Lauren R. may have made things a little less complicated.
"The Bachelor" Season 20 premieres on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
