With the news of Ben's newfound love, the question of his involvement in the show arose. If Ben and Tenley continue to date, fans can expect that the show will continue as a farce.

Ben Higgins was present in the recent season of "The Bachelorette." While he made it to the final three, he went out against Nick Viall and Shawn Booth. The bachelorette, Kaitlyn, caused several controversies during her season, especially with the addition of Viall in the middle of the season. It is expected that the upcoming season of The Bachelor will see more controversies, maybe even ones regarding Ben's current girlfriend.

E! Online confimed that Ben Higgins as the new Bachelor is already official. ABC reportedly picked Ben as he is a favorite among the viewers. However, they stated, "ABC does not comment on casting rumors; however, multiple insiders tell us that producers have decided on Kaitlyn Bristowe's third runner-up to star in the show's landmark 20th season this fall. We are told that Ben has yet to finalize his contract, however, he is 'pretty much a lock.' So barring any last minute changes, Ben will be your next rose-giver and basically this means that if you ever thought about auditioning for the show...now is the time!"
