'The Bachelor' Update: Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell Breaking Up Due to Tension?
The history of a happy ending among couples formed in "The Bachelor" is pretty low. Many have split up after some time and there are some who are predicting that it may be the same case for the couple of the last season. According to a report by Hollywood Life, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may be breaking up due to some tensions that they are experiencing in their relationship right now.
It can be remembered that in the season finale, Higgins proposed to Bushnell. But reports say that it has not been easy for the two of them since then because Higgins had also said "I love you" to Bushnell's co-contestant, JoJo Fletcher. Sources say that she is "traumatized" after watching now-fiancé Higgins telling Fletcher his feelings for her days before he proposed. And because of that, they are said to be heading to a breakup.
"Lauren tries not to think about it," a source told Life & Style magazine. "But she's traumatized that Ben told another girl he loved her." Reports also say that the tension between the two isn't invisible to the people around them. "Everyone around them can feel the awkwardness. It's unclear if they will last. Things between them are getting worse," the source added.

But aside from the issue concerning Higgins' lingering feeling for Fletcher, the couple may also be having other problems. Inquisitr stated that Higgins is rumored to be still in contact with his ex-girlfriend. Sources reveal that the 27-year old reality star still values his ex's opinion on things and the two still catch up even after his engagement with Bushnell.
Another report also stated that the problem could also be found in Bushnell. An article by InTouch said that there are sources suggesting that Bushnell has a past of hard-partying including hard drinking with her ex-boyfriend, Sean Evans. She was even apprehended in April 2015 due to public intoxication.
However, if they are really breaking up, fans will have to continue following them. So far, Bushnell has not failed to show over her social media account that she is very much in love and engaged by posting photos of her with Higgins.
