'The Bachelorette' 2014 Recap: Party Crasher Makes for Uneasy Premiere

"The Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman did not have an easy task last night while meeting 25 men all vying for her attention and heart. Things were made even more difficult when an unexpected party-crasher showed up, demanding to meet Andi and be allowed to compete alongside the other men.

The episode began with a special memorial tribute to contestant Eric Hill, who died earlier in a paragliding accident. Producers paid tribute to the man host Chris Harrison called "vibrant."

"Every day, he impressed us with his passion and courageous spirit. He will be greatly missed," Harrison added. "And we dedicate this season to him."

From there, things appeared to go as normal as they could with the debut of a new bachelorette and 25 suitors. Andi got last-minute nerves before the big reveal where she met the men, so she called on her sister to help get her ready. The two shared a touching moment before she finally left her room to get the season officially started.

"I'm about to meet 25 guys," Andi told her sister. "Even though I'm so excited, there's a part of me that feels terrified to do it. I don't know what I did to deserve 25 men to want to fly across the country and meet me."

Well, 25 men showed up eager to meet the newest bachelorette, and Nick V. took home the coveted first impression rose, which means that he now has a "bulls eye on his back," according to the remaining 24 men. In the midst of all that chaos, though, Andi received an unexpected suitor from a previous season who demanded to meet her and be allowed to compete.

"I want to meet her," Chris Bukowski told Chris Harrison. "And I brought flowers. I just need a couple minutes. I need to talk to Andi."

Harrison, ever the diplomat, went to Andi and informed her of Bukowski's presence. He gave her the option of meeting him or not.

"I can't do it," Andi decided. "I can't do it to them."

"I can't give up like this," Bukowski said when Harrison returned with her decision. "I seriously came out here – I've been out here for seven days on my own. I can't just walk away. I'm not leaving."

Harrison finally gave Bukowski an ultimatum – walk away now or be escorted by security. He eventually left but insisted that Harrison give Andi the flowers.

Finally, it was time for the first official rose ceremony. JJ, Eric, Marquel, Craig, Tasos, Josh M., Brian, Bradley, Marcus, Andrew, Ron, Carl, Chris, Dylan, Brett, Patrick, Cody and Nick S. all received the sacred rose, while the remaining men were forced to walk away.

"The Bachelorette" airs Monday nights on ABC.
