Rodgers Speaks Up
However, Rodgers addressed the issue, stating that it is not true at all. He posted a letter on his social media explaining his side of the story. He explained that he was inactive on Facebook and did not even have his phone until May.
Rodgers stating that he was part of the dating app called Raya until February. He also clarified that he was not approached for the show until March. With that, it is evident that he did not use the dating app while courting JoJo.
In addition, Rodgers pointed out that his involvement in "The Bachelorette" was leaked way before he confirmed his contract with the producers. That said, he explained how is contract plays a factor in the scandal, "I immediately deleted the profile as soon as I had access to do so. However the auto renewal had already been processed through the month of May and into June. Despite this I have not used this app, had it on my phone or accessed it in any capacity since my portion of filming was done. ... Any photos attempting to prove otherwise are old screenshots from before filming."
Aside from that, Rodgers also posted a screen shot of his membership termination from the dating app. Through his posts, it seems as though someone is trying to ruin his reputation. Fans speculate that his ex-girlfriend could be the one instigating the chaos since she has accused him of cheating on her.
