'The Bachelorette' Wedding Special to Feature Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
Even though "Bachelorette" couple Emily Maynard and Jef Holm may be through, there is still one former "Bachelorette" who will see her wedding day. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum have officially signed a contract with ABC to film their nuptials.
According to reports, ABC will have the right to document everything leading up to the wedding, including dress fittings, and of course, the infamous bachelor/bachelorette parties. While there is currently no date set for the wedding, the special is slated to air in December.
Hebert found her fiancé while filming "The Bachelorette" after being left behind by the previous season's "Bachelor," Brad Womack. Rosenbaum was an early contender, earning Hebert's trust and affection before ultimately getting down on one knee to propose.
Their relationship has remained relatively quiet, given the sensationalism surrounding former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants such as Maynard, Womack, and Ben Flajnik. It was recently announced that Sean Lowe, one of the men left behind by Maynard, and a fan favorite, will be the new "Bachelor."
Hebert and Rosenbaum are one of the few couples to actually make it to the altar after being on the dramatic reality show. Trista Rehn, the first "Bachelorette" and Ryan Sutter have been married since 2003 and have two children together. They are perhaps one of the most well-known couples, simply for the fact that their relationship has lasted so long.
"So happy to share our special day with everyone and finally show our excitement!!" Hebert tweeted. "Thank you to everyone for being positive and supportive!!"
The couple has managed to return to their more normal lives, with Hebert working as a dentist and Rosenbaum working in construction.
"We complement each other so well," Hebert said on Good Morning America last year. "He's exactly what I've been looking for."
"The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.'s Wedding" will air in December on ABC.
