'The Bastard Executioner' Season 1 Finale Spoilers: Wilkin, Milus Put Their Lives on the Line for Rescue Mission

There's only but one more episode to go before FX's hit period drama TV series "The Bastard Executioner" takes a bow for its first season and fans are already hoping for a Season 2, but that issue will still have to be updated.

For the meantime, episode 10 titled "Blood and Quiescence/Crau a Chwsg" is expected to finally tie up some loose ends found wringing in the Kurt Sutter drama, all while Wilkin Brattle and company engage a mission that could lead them to their deaths.

As specified in the spoiler report from TVGuide, Wilkin and Milus will lead "an unlikely band of brothers" in a mission to find and rescue Luca and the priest Ruskin who kidnapped him.

Fans may remember in the penultimate episode how disappointed Brattle was with Annora. The latter revealed to the warrior that she already knew the fact that the priest will run off with the boy even before it happened. She could have told Brattle earlier on to save him all the trouble that is about to come.

But the most intriguing part of the episode was when the mystic woman revealed to Wilkin an utterly shocking truth that will surely be tackled in this week's finale episode. As it turns out, Wilkin is Annora's son.

The latest promo for the episode, shared over at SpoilersGuide.com, meanwhile, teased yet another major shocker. The clip specifically showed Wilkin confronting the Ventrishire knight whom he believed had killed his wife.

The soldier denied Wilkin's association but the latter is already lunging himself towards him with an intent to kill. Followers of the series may already know that the man wasn't the one who killed Brattle's wife. Instead, it's Annora's guardian.

Explosive scenes then followed featuring a battle between Brattle's men and some huge army.

Don't miss the season finale of "The Bastard Executioner" Season 1 which airs this Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 10 p.m. on FX.
