'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 17 Spoilers: Sheldon Convinces Amy to Go to Comic-Con
The upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will see the boys attending Comic-Con, and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) will try to convince his less-than-enthused girlfriend to join them.
A teaser trailer for the new episode, titled "The Comic-Con Conundrum," has been released. It starts out with Raj (Kunal Nayyar) dressed as Aquaman, which fans have seen him rock before, and holding up an arrow sign as he eagerly waves it around.
The next scene sees Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) having a conversation over a glass of wine, and the former is surprised by the latter's revelation. Penny is going to Comic-Con - something her husband, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), perhaps invited her to.
"Do you want to come?" Penny asks Amy. "I already live in a place all the nerds come to," Amy replies, cementing her refusal to go. However, Sheldon will not take no for an answer.
Sheldon is then seen trying to talk Amy into going to Comic-Con with him. And while it initially seems like he is giving her the sweet talk to go with him, it is ultimately revealed that he is just Sheldon being Sheldon.
Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "The Allowance Evaporation."
After having relied on his parents all of his life, Raj decided to turn things around after he was told that he is spoiled. Howard (Simon Helberg) and Leonard encouraged him to live life based on his salary, and not his father's income. Raj started off by getting rid of some luxuries he did not need and by getting a more affordable apartment.
Elsewhere, Sheldon and Amy went out to dinner, but it did not end well. They ran into Bert, a co-worker, and Amy was surprised that Bert knew about their once-a-year birthday sex. Even worse, the whole of Caltech knows. At home, Sheldon and Amy fought about the former telling almost everyone about their little arrangement. In the end, Sheldon told his girlfriend about a secret he has been keeping from everyone for two years: he has a driver's license.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
