'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 18 Spoilers: Bev Returns to Help Out Sheldon

Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) mother will make a surprise visit to her son and his wife in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."

In the episode titled "The Escape Hatch Identification," IB Times UK reports that Beverly (Christine Baranski) will be in town without prior notice. It looks like Sheldon (Jim Parsons) has kept it a secret that he has invited Leonard's mother to ask for her help. Sheldon appears to be having a personal problem and he badly needs the shrink's advice. Leonard will not be happy, especially when Beverly starts psychoanalyzing his married life to Penny (Kaley Cuoco) during her spare time.

Elsewhere, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is determined to follow his financial manager's advice on saving money. Now that he has declined his father's financial support, Raj needs to trim down his expenses. Sheldon, whom he appointed to oversee his finances, previously told him to skip Comic-Con and quit from spending too much. Raj followed his advice, although he really felt bad about it. This time around, he will try to look for a cheaper apartment. He cannot afford the one he currently lives in if he is really serious in his decision to not receive money from his folks.

Meanwhile, spoilers report that Penny will soon make a decision about her career. She knows she cannot be a pharmaceutical rep forever. Penny has always wanted to return to acting, but the opportunities coming her way are scarce. She must also tell her husband about her plans since he thinks she is still happy with her current job.

Leonard and Penny have been trying to be considerate to one another ever since they fought. She may want to take advantage of Leonard's leniency and broach the subject of a career change soon.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
