'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 18: What's Next for Penny?

It is time for Penny (Kaley Cuoco) to reconsider her choice of career in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."

There will be no new episodes airing in the coming days for the CBS show. The series is set to return in March and CarterMatt posits that the upcoming episode will center on Penny and her professional life.

Cuoco's character has made no secret of the fact that she is not happy working as a pharmaceutical rep. She wants to act, but there have been no opportunities coming her way for quite a while now. Previously, it has been teased that Penny will get the courage to tell her husband, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), that she wants to return to being an actress.

Meanwhile, some of the fans are still waiting for the day when Penny's maiden name will be revealed. When her family attended her church wedding to Leonard, many viewers expected that the showrunners would finally relent and put them out of their misery. Since season 1, Penny's surname has been kept under wraps and it is possible that the current season will have the answer to the million-dollar question.

Last episode, Penny almost accompanied Leonard to the Comic-Con. She really did not want to go. She just did not have the heart to disappoint her husband, whom she thought was looking forward to her joining him on the trip.

Penny was wrong, though. Leonard actually did not want her to come since he knows she hates events like that. The matter was then cleared up, thanks to Amy (Mayim Bialik). In the end, only Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy went. The married men elected to stay behind with their wives, while Raj (Kunal Nayyar) declined the Wolowitz couple's suggestion that they finance the trip for him. Raj had decided that he would not accept an allowance from his father anymore. Sheldon, who served as his accountant, told him to skip Comic-Con and save money.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will return on CBS this March.
