'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 19: Raj Settles in With the Hofstadters
Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is settling down nicely at the Hofstadters' apartment in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
In the episode titled "The Collaboration Fluctuation," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that Raj is adjusting to his new living arrangements. Previously, he succeeded in getting Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to rent him Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) old bedroom. Sheldon had earlier advised Raj that he must find a cheaper place now that he is not getting an allowance from his parents. He did not realize that Raj would ask the Hofstadters for his room. Since Sheldon is currently living with Mayim Bialik in her apartment, his room at Leonard's place was left vacant.
Penny and Leonard were initially against Raj sharing the apartment with them, but they soon changed their minds upon seeing how he has been suffering with his predicament. Raj was used to not worrying about money since he knew that his father would send him more when he asked. He let Sheldon, his newly hired financial manager, convince him to give up his luxuries but it has not been easy.
Elsewhere, Sheldon will reportedly show a sudden interest in his girlfriend's work. Amy is a neurobiologist. In the past, Sheldon visited her at her work place, but he was not particularly keen to know more about her field. It appears that he has changed. The promo photo shows the two looking at a graph and some computations. Amy is pointing at something, while Sheldon looks like he is processing everything she is saying. What can they be talking about that makes them so serious?
Meanwhile, fans of the series are still waiting for updates regarding the show's renewal. It has been recently revealed that a spinoff featuring Sheldon would be released. As to whether there is going to be a season 11 for the series, CBS has yet to announce it.
In February, Galecki told Entertainment Weekly that a renewal is probable.
"We're very much talking about [the show's future] right now, and it seems that the writers are very confident and excited that they can write some more after this year, which is an incredible testament to them," Galecki said. He adds: "If they're confident that they can do more, then I know that we're still having a great time with it on stage, so hopefully a bit longer."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 19 airs on Thursday, March 30 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
