'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 20: Sheldon Overwhelms Himself with Two Projects at Once

The upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will see Sheldon (Jim Parsons) spreading himself too thin, which may lead to a drunken night that he cannot remember.

The synopsis of the next episode, titled "The Recollection Dissipation," states that Sheldon will test how far he can go by agreeing to work on projects with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Howard (Simon Helberg) as well as Amy (Mayim Bialik) simultaneously. Meanwhile, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will discover that her maternity leave is almost over, which means she will need to get back to work soon.

A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with Sheldon waking up in the living room, finding his friends surrounding him. It becomes clear that he has no memory of what happened the night before when he asks how he ended up on the couch.

"What time is it?" he asks them. "Nine o'clock," Penny (Kaley Cuoco) points out. This seems to really confuse Sheldon as he asks "what happened to eight and seven and all the other o'clocks."

It is possible that all his stressful work with Leonard, Howard and Amy will lead to him becoming overwhelmed. The next scene features Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Leonard taking Sheldon to a Western bar.

"Does this place look familiar?" Raj asks. And while Sheldon initially says that he is unable to tell, he immediately changes his mind when the whole bar greets him in loud unison.

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "The Collaboration Fluctuation."

Sheldon decided to work with Amy on a research paper after he discovered a connection between their separate projects. However, this arrangement--and Sheldon's many demands--ultimately resulted to many arguments. But the couple soon discovered that their fighting led to their scientific problems being solved.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
