'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Episode 4 Plot News: Sheldon Needs a New Roommate

Episode 4 of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is expected to bring in new living arrangements for the gang.

The upcoming episode, titled "The 2003 Approximation," will finally see Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, and Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco, moving in together. However, they will first have to deal with telling the news to Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, who has been dealing with the pain of breaking up with Amy, played by Mayim Bialik.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the showrunner of the series Steve Molaro explained that it is not just Sheldon who will be sad to hear the news. He said, "They're all trying to figure it out. We jokingly alluded to the fact that in some way the three of them are kind of married and I think the three of them will need to figure out how this is going to work."

With that, it can be expected that the news of the new change will be painful to Sheldon. The episode will then see Sheldon deciding to look for a roommate. It was reported that he will ask Amy to move in with him, despite the fact that they had already broken up. As expected, Amy will reject the offer.

As for the rest of the characters, it was reported that Raj, played by Kunal Nayyar, and Howard, played by Simon Helberg, will be attempting a new project. The two will be working with Stuart, played by Kevin Sussman to start their own band, since Stuart was interested in having musicians perform at the comic book store he owns. The group will be looking up to Thor and Indiana Jones as their muse. With that, fans can expect a unique sound from their new band.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 airs on CBS every Monday.
