'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Juicy Details about Sheldon and Amy

The midseason finale of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 is expected to see how Sheldon and Amy cope with their previous encounter.

After being left heartbroken at the end of season 8, Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, met up with Amy, played by Mayim Bialik, for the first time. It was reported that the two visited an aquarium and caught up with each other's lives.

This led to Amy revealing a confession that received a surprising response from Sheldon. She told Sheldon that she missed him and wanted to get back together with him. However, it seemed as though Sheldon did not feel the same way. He said, "Amy, I excel at many things but getting over you wasn't one of them. I think I need to be just your friend."

However, it seems as though their relationship will not stop there. The executive producer of the series, Steve Molaro, shared some juicy spoilers about the upcoming episode titled "The Earworm Reverbation." He explained that Amy and Sheldon will finally be doing the deed.

According to Entertainment Tonight, he said, "After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes."

They will not be the only ones experiencing a milestone in the next episode. As for the rest of the group, it was reported that Ray, played by Junal Nayyar, and Howard, played by Simon Helberg, will be going on an adventure. After starting a band in the previous episodes, it was revealed that they finally have one fan. With that, they will be working hard to find their one and only fan.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 10 is expected to air on CBS on Dec. 10.
