'The Blacklist' Season 3 Episode 18 Spoilers: Will Liz Lose The Baby? What Will Red Do This Time?
The events are about to get even more complicated and intense as NBC's hit crime fighting drama TV series "The Blacklist" Season 3 continues this week with the second part and conclusion of the "Mr. Solomon" episode series.
"Mr. Solomon: Conclusion" will take off from the cliffhanger in the previous episode, where Tom's former organization, the Cabal, interrupted his and Liz's wedding ceremony. The titular villain has nothing more in mind but the head of Tom who turned his back from him.
Tom and Liz nearly escaped with the onslaught brought by the mob leader and his throng of commandos who stormed the small chapel. This happens despite Red being there at the scene.
Judging from the promo video dropped by the network for the upcoming episode, things are not exactly looking up for both Tom and Liz. They can be seen driving away in a car which they used to escape from the mess in Episode 17. The expectant mother, still in her wedding gown, is also attempting to stall the bad guys by firing at them while Tom manages the road.
The scene then cuts to their car ramming straight into a payloader. It's hard to determine if the couple can really survive that impact but the next frames showed Tom carrying Liz into an emergency hospital. Liz looks bad and according to the doctors, they may need to perform a C-section to save her and the baby.
Red, who is present at the hospital, appears downcast with the tragic development. His voice can be heard saying, "Look at her lying there in this barbaric situation with her child's life at risk, everything is not fine."
Since the beginning, the informer is negative towards Liz's decision to marry the man. He knows too well what kind of trouble this union can bring to them.
The synopsis shared from The Futon Critic reads:
"After a tragedy puts a member of the team in grave danger, the task force must rely on Red (James Spader) and his unconventional methods to survive. Meanwhile, Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Liz (Megan Boone) face an unexpected complication that could affect their baby's future."
"The Blacklist" Season 3 airs Thursdays, at 9 on NBC.
