Reports say that Liz Keen, played by Megan Boone, will come back next season after faking her death. Liz wanted to get away from Raymond Reddington, portrayed by James Spader. Liz could have also faked her death to escape all the drama from her relationship with Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) and her mom Katarina Rostova (Lotte Verbeek).
Liz and the man who claims to be her father will soon come face to face and their relationship will surface in the next season of this suspense-drama series from NBC..
A short recap of season 3
In the show's third season Liz survived the birth of her first child. However, she was with Alexander Kirk, who is her alleged father. It was not certain what Kirk really wants with Liz, however, the heroine just wants to see her baby. Reports say that a backstory of Kirk is at hand for Season 4 and this will reveal a lot about his relationship with Liz.
Red would have to immediately locate the whereabouts of Liz and to protect her and her baby. There is no saying what will Kirk do to her and his intentions yet. Liz wants to keep as far away from Red so that she could protect her family. This may seem strange for fan, but it is expected that the two will be reunited soon, possibly next season.
Katarina Rostova returns
The Blacklist" Season 4 will feature Liz's mother, Katarina Rostova. She first appeared in Season 3 when Red was so worried that Liz could have died from giving birth. He saw Katarina on a beach in a vision. Katarina was presented as a Russian spy who drowned when her daughter was just a little girl.
Liz learned about her mother's death from Red. However, it was revealed that in the next season, this would all be clearer now for Red. In Season 3, he found a file with the name "Rostova" which could mean that there are secrets that are yet to be uncovered about Liz's mother.
