'The Bold and the Beautiful' News: Hope Logan Recast Confirmed, Dec. 8 to 12 Spoilers

Fans of "The Bold and the Beautiful" are still reeling after learning about Kim Matula's decision to exit the show. Given that her character Hope has one of the most intriguing storylines on the soap, many are wondering if the character will be retired or recast.

Though it was previously reported that the role will not be recast, apparently, the writers and execs of "The Bold and the Beautiful" had a change of heart as it was confirmed that the character of Hope Logan will not be going anywhere.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the show's head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell said, "Hope Logan is a critical and central character to the show. We're losing Kim Matula, who is a brilliant actress, and I am hoping at some point she will return in the role—but the role will continue."
