'The Bold and the Beautiful': Sally Spectra Brings in Secret Weapon; Infiltrates Forrester Creations

This week, the overambitious designer Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) brings in her secret weapon who she will use to infiltrate Forrester Creations, and it is none other than her teenage half-sister, Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck).

Sally now serves as the chief executive officer of Spectra Fashions. The company used to operate under her great-grandaunt, the first Sally Spectra, who was portrayed by the late Darlene Conley. Spectra Fashions has been in a rivalry with Forrester Creations for a long time now. The latter is currently led by Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

The original Sally was notorious for her vicious ways of dealing with competition. She was infamous for stealing designs from Forrester Creations. And today, the younger Sally is not ruling out that plan because she will practically do anything – except playing fair – to bring their fashion line to the top.

Spoilers have it that Sally will definitely use Coco's appeal of being a young person working in the fashion industry to sway everybody's attention. Coco's innocence charms almost everyone she meets, even the Forresters. Reports say Sally will use her to virtually get past the Forresters' fence.

The plan is for Coco to work at Forrester Creations and steal designs for her sister. These will then be produced and sold by Spectra Fashions at a whopping discounted price. It may even be a good start in putting the company on the map of Los Angeles.

However, Coco perceives the fashion industry in a slightly different way. She really loves fashion and working for Forrester Creations has been her dream. She treats it as a real opportunity and not just some plot of deceit. Coco's reservations about Sally's plans suggest an intense loyalty issue between the sisters.

Earlier in the soap opera, Spectra Fashions was subject for review by famed fashion reporter Jarrett Maxwell (Andrew Collins). However, publishing magnate Bill Spencer Jr. (Don Diamont), who also used to have a romantic relationship with Steffy, worked his magic to taint Spectra Fashions' name.

Bill spread fake news under Jarrett's name, saying nothing good about Spectra Fashions. However, as mentioned in previous reports, Sally has a backup plan that now clearly involves her younger sister.

Now that Sally has figured out her plans, the big question is whether or not Coco will follow her love for fashion and becomes a great addition to Forrester Creations, or if she will give in to her duty to her family and be her sister's mole.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
