'The Catch' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: Alice Goes After Her Own Brother in 'The Dining Hall'

Only two episodes in and it already looks like it's going to be another rough season for Los Angeles-based private investigator, Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos). And in the next episode of ABC's crime drama series, "The Catch," things are only going to get worse for herself and her private investigation firm.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "The Dining Hall" seems to indicate that Alice will find out what her brother Tommy (T.R. Knight) did in the previous episode, which will, in turn, force her partner Val (Rose Rollins) to dig into her past in order to find any significant details that could help them with his case.

Alice previously expressed concern about her beau, Ben (Peter Krause), associating with her brother, because she worried his criminal ways might rub off on Tommy. But while Ben would never do anything to jeopardize his relationship with Alice, his partner Rhys (John Simm) serves as the second-best choice for Tommy, who intends to steal back his $3 million dollars.

The official trailer shows Alice going on a wild hunt for her brother, even declaring that it would be better if no one were around to witness it when she finally catches up to him.

But while it may seem like Rhys has helped him accomplish his intentions of getting the drug money and going off the grid, a later scene shows Tommy getting caught up in a threat much bigger he or his sister can handle. The drug cartel that has been after the money has set its sights on Tommy. Will Alice find his brother soon enough to save his life?

The episode will also be testing other relationships, like that of Margot (Sonya Walger) and the Anderson-Vaughan team as they are forced to navigate their current realities, while Ben and Rhys get caught in a risky mission.

"The Catch" season 2 episode 3 airs on Thursday, March 23 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
