'The Crown' Season 2 News: More Cast Members Recently Revealed, 'Dexter's' Michael C. Hall Among Them
Later seasons of 'The Crown' may also feature new lead actors and actresses
Key acting roles for season 2 of "The Crown" were reportedly filled recently, with Michael C. Hall apparently among the show's new cast members.
According to a recent report from Deadline, Hall has now been tapped to take on the role of former president John F. Kennedy in the series. Jodi Balfour has also reportedly been selected to play the iconic Jackie Kennedy.
Hall and Balfour are expected to feature both the public and private personas of the characters they will be playing, so people who are always curious to learn even more about those two legendary figures of American history will have another chance to do so.
Apart from Hall and Balfour, Matthew Goode is also reportedly set to star in the series as Princess Margaret's photographer husband Anthony Armstrong-Jones.
While season 2 of "The Crown" is already set to feature its share of newcomers, fans can reportedly count on seeing even more new faces join the show in the seasons to come.
In a recent report, RadioTimes.com revealed that the showrunners may already be looking for other actors and actresses who will be playing important roles in the following seasons of the show.
The show's producers are reportedly already searching for someone who can play Roddy Llewellyn, and beyond that, they may also be on the lookout for a new queen.
Given that later seasons of the show will also feature an older queen, the showrunners are reportedly already trying to find an actress in her 40s or 50s to assume the role of the monarch.
Yet another actress may also be cast to play the queen for season 6 of the show, though details about what the producers may be looking for have yet to be revealed.
More news about the upcoming seasons of "The Crown" should be made available soon.
