'The Elder Scrolls Online' News: Devs Further Detail the New Locations Included in the 'Clockwork City' DLC Pack

Players can run into the world boss known as The Imperfect while in Clockwork City

Though it may seem like a pleasant if quirky place to visit because of its name, Clockwork City is anything but, as "The Elder Scrolls Online" players will soon find out.

This odd-looking city holds dangers within, and even navigating through it can prove to be a challenge.

One of the segments of Clockwork City is known as the Mechanical Fundament, a place that can best be described as a maze inhabited by mechanical monstrosities. If players do not find themselves getting lost here, they may still end up being trapped by the enemies present. A visit to this place may still prove to be rewarding, however, mainly because there are some valuable items that can be found here.

The Halls of Regulation are not that much more hospitable than the Mechanical Fundament. Found within these halls are factorums that players are going to have to deal with in some way if they want to progress deeper into Clockwork City.

Looking just a bit different from the other locations of Clockwork City is the Shadow Cleft. Upon reaching this location, "The Elder Scrolls Online" players should quickly notice the portal present, and it is up to them to decide if it is one worth investigating.

Before explorers go any deeper into Clockwork City, they may need to replenish their health, purchase some items or even just relax a little, and the good news for them is that at least one part of the metropolis will allow them to do those things. The Brass Fortress is the city's "residential" area, according to a recent post on the game's official website, so players are going to want to pay this place a visit.

After taking a break, players can now take on the remaining challenges of the city, including the one found in the Sanctuary of Verification. This place is home to The Imperfect, a world boss perfectly capable of eliminating unprepared players.

Lastly, the city also features the Asylum Sanctorium. Inside the Sanctorium are three Dunmer Saints that players are going to have to figure out how to defeat if they want to successfully go through the city.

The aforementioned locations will be made accessible to all "The Elder Scrolls Online" players as soon as the "Clockwork City" DLC pack is released sometime this fall.
