'The Fast and the Furious 9' Cast, Spoilers: Tyrese Gibson Ends Feud With 'Dewayne,' Takes Back Threat to Ditch Franchise

It looks like Tyrese Gibson is not going anywhere, after threatening to leave "The Fast and the Furious 9" if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson" is in it.

The actor shared on Instagram a photo of himself with The Rock and co-star Vin Diesel, who was also locked in a feud with Johnson not too long ago.

In the caption, he announced that things between him and Johnson have been settled and even expressed his excitement to return to the "The Fast and the Furious" franchise.

Want you guys to know I had a real Heart to Heart with one of Dewayne's associates and this will be my last post about him. I repeat my last. I respect the associate who called. My story will never change I was never DJ's Co-Star. I'm Shayla's Father first. Justin Lin is back in the driver seat that's exciting cause it's going to feel like the true #FastFamily all over again. When we see Justin we see Paul.

However, as Movie Web points out, Gibson still purposefully misspells The Rock's first name as seen above and appears to still have bitter feelings about the whole thing.

For the uninitiated, Gibson is not happy about The Rock starring in a "The Fast and the Furious" spinoff that focuses on his character Luke Hobbs and has gone in a major tirade in social media to express his frustration.

He believes that the project is delaying the progress of the series since "The Fast and the Furious 9" was pushed to 2020 with its initial summer 2019 release taken over by the spinoff.

While it appears that fans will not be hearing any more rants from Gibson about The Rock, the abovementioned site speculates that there is still bad blood between the two and that it is only being set aside as they are advised to focus on "The Fast and the Furious 9."
