'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 19 Spoilers: Can Barry Still Protect Central City Without His Speed?

Major spoiler alert for those who missed the previous episode of The CW's hit superhero drama TV series "The Flash" Season 2: Barry Allen chose to give up his speed to Hunter Zolomon aka Zoom so that Wally West may live.

Without his powers, The Scarlett Speedster would just be a regular guy working at the CSI lab of Central City Police Department. However, his current condition won't stop Barry to do what he does best – saving people from danger, and one of them would be Harrison Wells.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Back To Normal," Harrison Wells will be kidnapped by a meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey. Apparently, the latter mistake Harry for his Earth – 1 counterpart whom he believes is the one responsible for his current predicament. Grey demands the Earth – 2 genius to cure him or else people will suffer. Aside from the fact that Barry doesn't have his speed anymore, the STAR Labs team is drastically down in manpower after Zoom abducts Caitlin Snow and now Wells.

The remaining personnel will be left with no choice but to enlist the help of Jesse Wells to assist them in tracking down Griffin's location. It is yet to be found out how Cisco or Barry finds the Earth – 2 girl who, in the previous episode, ran away from the lab.

A promo video for the episode reveals that despite his inability, the speed-less Flash will still don his suit to deter the brute villain in hurting Jesse's father. Cisco, however, warns that the suit can only absorb one of Grey's punches. More than that and Barry will turn to piñata. It would be interesting to find out how Barry, Cisco, and Jesse will be able to solve the problem and save Wells from utter danger.

Find out how these events unfold when "The Flash" Season 2 "Back to Normal" airs this Tuesday, Apr. 26 at 8 on The CW.
