'The Flash' Season 2 Plot News: Who Is Zoom?

The previous episode of the hit series "The Flash" season 2 left fans wondering who exactly Zoom is.

It was revealed that a character named Zoom has come to air out his problems with Barry Allen. Apparently, the other metahuman who has tried to kill Flash was brought by Zoom. However, fans are still wondering who exactly he is.

While it has not yet been revealed, fans have been speculating on the exact identity of the mysterious character. Some theories regarding his identity have been circulating the web. One of the guesses is Eddie Thawne, played by Rick Cosnett, from Earth 2. While his death was seen during the finale of "The Flash" season 1, it is rumored that he could have been brought to Earth 2 and now has made his way back to kill the Flash.

Another guess is the Earth 2 version of Barry Allen himself. A reason for this theory is that Zoom and the Flash are both Speedsters. In addition, since it was revealed that all those in Earth 1 have an opposite version of themselves in Earth 2, it can be speculated that Zoom is a darker version of Barry Allen.

Meanwhile, Henry Allen from Earth 2 is also another character speculated to be Zoom. This is because the character holds a lot of motivation to kill Barry since it was him who was convicted of killing his wife. With that, it is speculated that he also plans to get rid of his son.

Eobard Thawne is also another suspect for Zoom because of how his past is portrayed in the DC Comics of The Flash. Another guess is that Harrison Wells will bring violence to the Flash once again, but as his version from Earth 2.

With that, fans will have to wait to find out who exactly Zoom is. They will learn more about the character in the upcoming episode titled "Enter Zoom."

"The Flash" season 2 airs every Tuesday.
