Things are expected to get even more intense as the third season of the hit family drama TV series from ABC Family "The Fosters" continues with this week's episode titled "Idyllwild."
One of the most anticipated developments as the series pushes forward toward its mid-season hiatus is the growth of Brandon's (David Lambert) music career.
According to spoiler reports from Fashion N Style, the whole Foster family will take a trip to California to see Brandon compete on stage. This would be a huge step that Brandon has to take as he aims to realize his long time music aspirations and the good news is that his folks are on his back to support him.

Meanwhile, the rift between Lena (Sherri Saum) and Stef (Teri Polo) continues to get even worse in the upcoming episode. Stef will found out about the kiss Lena and Monty (Annika Marks) shared. Adding to the emotional burden is the scene from last week where a distressed Brandon accused them of bringing in "stray kids" in the house because in truth, they really couldn't stand the thought of being left alone with each other.
For the meantime, Brandon's dream girl Callie (Maia Mitchell) is trying to figure out why Carmen (Alicia Sixtos) lied about Rita (Rosie O'Donnell) hitting her. Callie is pretty much convinced that that Brooke (Alessandra Torresani) holds something very valuable and she is using it as a leverage to have Rita locked up.
